Destiny Mine Tormentor Mine Book 3 edition by Anna Zaires Dima Zales Romance eBooks

This series started out great, but it’s quickly going downhill. Book one was fantastic. Book two was not as great, but it was still a good read. Book three is complete nonsense. I waited how many months for...this??? And then come to find out the author dragged the series out to four books instead of three?? So, here’s another cliffhanger and many more months of waiting to see how the story ends. Oh, that’s great...NOT.

I found myself skimming most of this book because it was filled with drivel. Peter and Sara were apart for most of the book, and I was so disinterested in what they were doing separately that I was bored to tears. It was so, so boring and just dragged on and on. I found myself several times not even wanting to pick the book back up again to read it — and this is a book I waited MONTHS to read!

I’m not sure yet if I’ll read the fourth book. I, unfortunately, lost my interest in the story, and I’m really regretting buying this book. I think when the series is finally complete, this book could be skipped entirely and still the series would make sense. Very disappointing!

Destiny Mine Tormentor Mine Book 3 edition by Anna Zaires Dima Zales Romance eBooks Reviews

I have to hand it to Anna, she can weave a tale that spans multiple series and maintain the stories so well. You find yourself in the beginning angry with the male characters but she alleviates that with such detail as to what created them that you end up feeling for them and rooting for them.
When I finished Destiny Mine I was crushed that there were not more pages. I am an avid reader of a wide variety of genres, but have rarely had a book grab my attention so thoroughly that I was obsessing over when the next one will come out. The story is very well written. You can see the scenery, the characters and their emotions. Of the 3 books in the Tormentor Series, this one really highlights Peters fierce obsession of Sara and the inherent need to control everything around her. But at the same time it becomes plainly evident that he does love her and she isn't just an object of his obsession. It also finds Sara examining her feelings for Peter. Those of you who are Twist Me fanatics - You will be happy. Once you finish you will be on the edge of your seat waiting for Forever Mine to come out.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys dark romances. I have ready several but quite frankly, I have a hard time getting into them because they just aren't Anna's. If you are new to Anna I recommend reading in the following order The Twist Me series, The Capture Me series and finish up with the Tormentor series. Don't forget the Krinar Captive and the Krinar Chronicles. Read all of them. You will thank me later.
I was so excited to read this book and finish our Peters story. Unfortunately, this book is 98% FILLER. The best part of this book is when you see how Nora and Julian are doing these days. It feels like the author gave up on writing an exciting story to opt to give you some bland version of what could have been.
This book was definitely not worth the wait. Sara’s inner dialogue and inner struggle was repetitive and nauseating. Over and over you read of the events of book one and book two. She struggles with her desire and love for her comatose husband’s assassin who avenged the senseless death of his wife and child de ailed in book one. The book is just filler so the author that profit from a fourth book. Peter risks it for an unknown patient.
I was so disappointed in this book after eagerly waiting for it to come out. Sarah's time at home was boring and the entire story could have been told in several chapters. I'm not sure I'm going to purchase the 4th book as I don't really care much about what happens to them now. I am rereading the "Twist Me" trilogy and enjoying it immensely.
Destiny Mine is the much anticipated 3rd installment in a series that has inadvertently revolutionized dishwashing for women across the globe. Ever since reading Obsession Mine, I personally get excited thinking of Peter whenever I see my kitchen sink. (And don't get me started on the shower scene in this book, because won't let me say anything about that.)

Between 's review bots and Anna Zaires' storytelling, it's really difficult to craft a decent review for Destiny Mine because you’re essentially traipsing through a landmine of spoilers and naughty scenes everywhere you turn. So I’ll just say that Destiny Mine contains a ton of set-up for book 4, which will be the final installment of Peter & Sara’s story. This book also really delves into the complex emotional and psychological hurdles for Sara as a grown woman unwittingly attracted to and falling in love with the criminal vigilante (Peter) who once waterboarded her and executed her husband for his involvement in the death of Peter’s family.

I can see how there may be a few frustrating moments for some readers with this book where you wish Sara was just a little more shallow or in possession of a lower emotional quotient and inferior moral compass so that she could get over her self-loathing at loving her husband’s killer faster—you know, so that the rest of us (who all pretty much agree her late journalist husband was a giant boob compared to Peter at this point, right?) can get back to enjoying our Peter sexy-time. But then of course we might feel compelled to scoff at Sara's flat, one-dimensional character development if that were the case.

As a dark romance novel critic, it’s often a tough call whether you wanna go the impatient don’t-give-me-storyline-and-feelings-with-my-erotica route, climb the self-righteous soapbox, or simply opt for a pseudointellectual rant in your book review. Not gonna lie, I totally paid $5.99 looking for a good time with my book boyfriend Peter Sokolov. Straight-up. And I’d do it again. (But I’m pc enough to pretend to care about how Sara’s feelings are developing, too, so that I come across as a better person in my book review. 😳)

But in all seriousness, at the end of the day, I like Peter too much to want to see him with a blow-up doll version of Sara who lacks inner conflict and emotional depth. And for me, an emotional payoff heightens the sexual payoff in romance and erotica novels. I am very much invested in these two characters and their storyline and I'm looking forward to more of them in book 4.
This series started out great, but it’s quickly going downhill. Book one was fantastic. Book two was not as great, but it was still a good read. Book three is complete nonsense. I waited how many months for...this??? And then come to find out the author dragged the series out to four books instead of three??
